How degraded sources are handled
Source health states
Each changelog source can be in one of these states:
- active: The source is fetching successfully and entries are current.
- degraded: The source is fetching, but structure drift was detected. The vendor changed their feed format and we are adapting the parser.
- problematic: The source has not fetched successfully in multiple attempts (network errors, removed feeds, authentication issues).
Billing policy
Health does not change your entitlement. On Free, every source in your saved selection, including degraded or problematic sources, counts toward the 10-source limit.
Degraded and problematic sources can remain in your saved selection while we investigate, but remove one before adding another Free source. Pro has unlimited catalog access and is not limited by saved selections.
Paid plans
Pro is $9.99/month for unlimited catalog access with REST and local MCP. Hourly cadence and structured diffs are coming later.
